MY STORY
My Product Design Journey
For the last 9 + years, I've worked in various roles in student finance within higher education. I'm used to solving complex financial issues empathetically for a diverse campus community. Although I enjoy the detailed nature of my work and the community of higher education, I desired to learn hard skills within the creative sphere.
Despite being a longtime creative junkie (Chocolate Milk, Please!), I felt the need to problem-solve from a new perspective, the design perspective. At the beginning of 2022, I dove headfirst into learning the Figma to Webflow and front-end development path. I enrolled into Memorisely's UX/UI Design and Webflow bootcamps, began freelancing at a digital design company, and enrolled in my community college's Web Design and Development Certificate program.
